Milestones:
200 days of travel

200 days of traveling have come and gone! Here’s the latest numbers:

- 40095 kilometers traveled, over land and sea (Equal to just over once around the equator!)

- 971 hours spent in transit

- Countries visited: 21

- Distance breakdown: 56% ship, 30% train, 7% bus, 6% car, <1% other

- Time breakdown: 67% ship, 17% train, 7% bus, 5% car, 3% foot, 1% other

More than once around the equator! And we broke the equatorial milestone on the 200th day, with a motorbike tour around Vang Vieng. How cool is that.

After 150 days of traveling, here’s the latest tally:

At last we've arrived in Asia. We're really excited to be here, and are starting to adjust to the stifling heat/humidity combination.

100 days of travel

Another milestone: today is our 100th day on the road. Some interesting numbers so far:

- Distance breakdown: 47% train, 36% ship, 11% car, 5.5% bus, 0.5% other
- Time breakdown: 45% ship, 31% train, 10% car, 7% foot, 5.5% bus, 1.5% other

Still goin’ strong! Right now we are in the Tuscan countryside, staying with Meghan’s cousin Shirley and her husband Carlo in a beautiful house in the hills. Not a bad way to celebrate.

Milestones:
50 days of travel

Yesterday was our 50th day on the road. Hooray! To date, we’ve traveled 10,043 km over land and sea. That’s 1/4 of the earth’s circumference, but we’ve only scratched the surface…
