Gear
This page is an inventory of all of the things that we’ve brought with us on our trip. We have put a lot of thought into choosing just the right things — when you are only bringing one pair of pants, they’d better be good ones! We hope that this list will help future wanderers in their preparations. We will be reviewing our gear, writing about it, and likely trading or discarding things as we go. As we do, this list will change. We will also be adding detail to some of the items through blog postings; for example, what’s in our first aid kit, anyways?
As much as we would like to be minimalist travelers, we have brought a few extra gadgets along with us. Some are to help us keep this website updated as often as possible. Some are for tracking our journey through photos. Some are for health and security. And some are just for fun.
